Looking back at my last 30 years in the DFW area! Looking forward to my new home and studio in San Marcos, TX! Yes, change is exciting. Before I move, I get to participate in this show at the awesome Bath House Cultural Center/Dallas. Please come see the show! There is also a film festival going on and another wonderful artist in the other gallery area! Don't miss it!
I am so excited to announce my next exhibit! It is at the beautiful Keller Town Hall and will include 40 of my paintings. Please save the date for February 16th !
The Visual Art Society of Texas (VAST) of Denton, TX sponsors a 125-Mile Visual ART Exhibit every year. The artwork above, The Watchful One, is on view there, along with 29 other artworks from talented local artists. The exhibit extends through February 25th at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in Denton. I hope you will go see it if you are in the area.
Friday evening I was honored and excited to receive the VAST Board of Directors AWARD! Thanks go out to them for the award and for supporting the arts in our community!! November 5th and 6th will be the first open studio this fall. It will be at my studio in Argyle and Lin Hampton/Artist will be joining me. Please come by to see our newest artworks including paintings, pastels, walking sticks and more. You may find a unique gift for someone, including yourself! :-)

Another landscape from my Texas series is on view at Emily Fowler Library through December 15th. Many of the pieces on display there are large, encaustic paintings from my Texas Landscape series.
